TECHNOLOGY CANABEST
Thermally insulating mats and plates CANABEST are made on a new and modern production line supplied by a renowned foreign deliverer.
As an input raw material, we use treated hemp rope in engineering quality, i.e. cleaned from chaff and shortened to 7-8 cm.

Hemp rope is mixed with bonding two-component rope BiCo in the ratio approx. 9:1. BiCo is healthy and inert binder on a polypropylen basis (as an illustration, it is added to nappies or ladies´ sanitary towels).
The prepared mixture is laid on the assembly line by a method of pneumatic webmaking, then mixed twice and laid on the line to reach the maximum homogeneity of the web.
Then, the web comes through a thermofixing oven where the hemp rope and the binder mix at the temperature of 135 °C. The material cools out and comes to the cutting part of the line where it is cut to the final format of mats 120x60 cm on a flywheel-type silage cutter and a cross guillotine. The mats are taken away, packed into bags and laid on pallets.
The production line works within the following parameters:
Line output: cca 800 kg/hr (depending on the product)
Mat thickness: 20 - 180 mm
Volume weight: 20 - 120 kg/m3
